What : The 2012 TICBANK conference will be a platform offering demo sessions, meetings, exchanges and deal making opportunities in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The Ivory Coast because of political turmoil remained for a long time at the periphery of the technological changes sweeping the African continent.
The conference which will be held during 3 days will allow the various actors of the banking and technological sectors to explain to the end consumers ,how to use their technologies, the relevance as well as the advantages of the various solutions now available on the market.
This conference will be also the occasion to discover the safety measures put in place to guarantee the safe and secure transactions. Finally the conference will highlight the interconnectivity between each and every actors who contribute into making the make the future of capital flow ,faster, safer and more personal.
The participation of international experts who during these 3 days will communicate their knowledge and their experience on the matter will do for a great intellectual experience.

Since the change of power in Ivory Coast ending the political crisis, new prospects and perspectives are opening up for a country that couple of months ago was heading straight for the abyss. Now more than ever, we are assisting at a real ballet of investors knocking at the doors of the country. But when the dust settles, what’s real and what’s not? By the look of things, it appears to me that the main focus of the government at this time is: taking care of the high level on unemployment, get the infrastructures renovated, restructure the educational system, which has heavily deteriorated over the past decade and also invest into the mechanization of agriculture.

Ismael Coulibaly goes on saying :”Read one of my earliest post called Land And Farming: The New Scramble For Africa and you will be able to read between the lines. This is no DA VINCI CODE, so let’s cut to the chase; West Africa is currently turning into a hot zone for Investments.”

1st Photography Flashmob in Ivory Coast

This past week end ( Saturday 26th of November 2011 ) saw the “spontaneous” gathering of photographers,models,make up artists in one of the residential area of the capital city Abidjan. The Flashmob that ended up lasting longer than usual saw an ethustiatic crowd learn about photography,how to take pictures,be photographed and just spent a creative and entertaining afternoon.
