The organizers of this Facebook summer party know/understand  darn well that Young togolese keep up with one another no longer via letters sent through the mail service or costly phone calls or word of mouth from someone coming back from either Togo or overseas.They use a simple,always on,less expensive tool,Facebook on the internet.

Summer is the time all the young people get together to have fun, go out and when Lomé is at a boiling point because of all the activities, shows and concerts organized for the locals and the diaspora who is back for the summer vacation.

They  have decided to bring these parties and the youth together through a series of shows with the goals to meet and know each other, to discover those people we see on the numerous Facebook accounts while having fun with it.

Well for the summer of 2010 so far they have scheduled a group of activities which will be extended through a whole weekend starting on Friday night.

Friday: Clubbing [dress code is de rigueur]

Saturday :Fashion show-  Election of Miss Facebook Togo

Sunday:Big summer barbecue at the beach.
