Twyka is a social utility to connect you with other Africans and the world allowing you to showcase the events that make up your life in deliciously digestible chunks. Whats more, you can post your updates directly to your Twitter and facebook accounts.

In their own word the service aim is” to bring people in Africa closer together by enabling them to have conversations without being lost in the crowd. It offers a way to connect with the people you care about by sharing updates with them on the Web, IM, and SMS – as well as through third-party applications built by other developers .Twyka does not seek to drive users away from other popular social or microblogging platforms, but indeed complement these other popular social networks that many have by now become accustomed to.. The dream is  that through twyka  will be shared anything from traffic updates, reporting elections, village news, produce prices, classifieds.”
