Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), a private equity firm focused on Africa, has invested US$25 million in Wananchi Group Holdings, a leading East African media and telecommunications company specializing in pay-television and high-speed Internet services in Kenya and Tanzania. The investment is ECP’s tenth in Africa’s telecom sector.
