Twitter Cuts us off,Time to move to to Identi

Twitter recently announced that African users would no longer be able to send or receive by SmS their updates as they used to.

We should assume, they do not know the potential of Twitter in Africa,do they even know about Africa ? By the look of their press announcement, the answer should be no.
