There is growing iinterest in China for farming land overseas,notably in Africa.What are the economics at play here ? China has over 1 billion people to feed, Africa has large and under-utilized farming land;Africa land assets are underused,thus undervalued thus cheap;China will be wise to acquire these cheap assets now than wait and have to pay an higher price in the future.
